29. Vernon David⁶ Woodruff (Martha Alice⁵ Spicer, Joshua⁴, Hardin G.³, Joseph², William¹) was born Abshers, North Carolina 14 December 1902.

He married Bertha Louise Holder 23 September 1923. Bertha was born Mulberry, North Carolina 19 August 1902. Bertha was the daughter of William Martin Holder and Julia Almedia Woodie.

Vernon David Woodruff and Bertha Louise Holder had the following children:

38 i. Lucille⁷ Woodruff.

39 ii. Helen Woodruff.

40 iii. Jessie Woodruff.

41 iv. Billie Jo Woodruff.

42 v. Nancy Woodruff.
