3. Hardin G.³ Spicer (Joseph², William¹) was born 27 February 1806. Hardin died 25 February 1897 at 90 years of age.

He married twice. He married Martha "Patsy" Johnson 29 January 1829. Patsy was born 4 December 1813. Patsy died 12 April 1864 at 50 years of age. He married Sarah Alexander Thompson 4 December 1866.

Hardin G. Spicer and Martha "Patsy" Johnson had the following child:

+ 5 i. Joshua⁴ Spicer was born 24 October 1843.
