19. Martha Alice⁵ Spicer (Joshua⁴, Hardin G.³, Joseph², William¹) was born Abshers, North Carolina 19 April 1875. Martha died 3 March 1913 at 37 years of age. Her body was interred Moxley, North Carolina, Piney Grove Baptist Church.

She married William David Woodruff 16 August 1898. Bud was born Knotsville, North Carolina 21 October 1872. Bud was the son of David C. Woodruff and Susan J. Walker. Bud died 18 October 1934 at 61 years of age. His body was interred Hays, North Carolina, Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Martha Alice Spicer and William David Woodruff had the following children:

28 i. Ina Dell⁶ Woodruff was born Abshers, North Carolina 29 August 1899. She married Glyde Bryan Gentry 27 December 1922. Glyde was born Parks, North Carolina 19 August 1901. Glyde was the son of Johnathan Newton Gentry and Sallie B. DeJournette.

+ 29 ii. Vernon David Woodruff was born 14 December 1902.

30 iii. Grace Woodruff was born Hays, North Carolina 6 July 1905. She married Glenn E. Golliher. Glenn was born 17 August 1902. Glenn was the son of Joel A. Golliher and Aryie M. Golliher. Glenn died 15 March 1968 at 65 years of age. His body was interred Rhonda, North Carolina, Rhonda Cemetery.

+ 31 iv. Wilmer Woodruff was born 25 December 1908.

32 v. Samuel McGager Woodruff was born 6 April 1911. Samuel died 2 July 1911 at less than one year of age. His body was interred Moxley, North Carolina, Piney Grove Baptist Church. Died at about 1 year old.

33 vi. William Delmer Woodruff was born 28 October 1912. William died 8 May 1913 at less than one year of age. His body was interred Moxley, North Carolina, Piney Grove Baptist Church.
