He married Mary Katherin Eichman Hoisington, Kansas, 12 February 1933. Mary was born 29 May1912. Mary was the daughter of Gottfried Eichman and Lydia Ehrlich. Mary died 1997 Hillsbourgh, Texas, at 85 years of age.
Alvin Nufer and Mary Katherin Eichman had the following children:
